Help! 2006 RMK 700 low end bog

I just picked up an '06 RMK 700 for the wife and I need to resove some issues on it. The engine bogs down when starting out. I really have to rip the throttle to get it to run good. It also seems to overheat fairly easily. I need to get scratchers for it. It has fresh spark plugs, premium gas and fresh synthetic oil in it. Any ideas or leads to past helpful threads? Also, what is the schrader air valve for above the engine?
