help! 2000 skidoo 700 highmark

i have a 2000 skidoo 700 highmark that i bought for my girlfriend. I want to know if i should install new piston and rings in it yet. the sled has 3500 miles and i tested the compression but the tester would not hold pressure due to a leak on the hose. tested 105 and 115. the sled runs great keeps right up with my rx-1. just needing some advice from you two stroker skidoo allies. thanks

If the pistons look ok, re-ring it and hone the cylinders.

If they ran good oil through it you should have no problems. I had one and put 12,000km- thats 7200mi and never had any motor problems with it. Now on the other hand don't get me started on the 800 motor.

hey thanks guys. it has had amsoil ran through it from the begining.The first owner was maticulous. well I guess im gonna change the gear oil and let it fly for another year.My girlfriend doesn't ride it very hard.
