HELP!!!! 08 700 Dragon died

I started it....idle was a little lower than normal 900rpm. Riding a few miles (8) in some powder. Making a pull up a mnt., got to the top and IT DIED.....NO SPARK!!!! checked switches...all visable wiring. Nothing abnormal. Any suggestions would be GREAT.

I suspect it's the stator

Here's how to check the stator with a simple ohm meter

For the 2008 600 cfi /700 CFI / 800 CFI's(NOT for 2007 CFI's, not for 600 carbed sleds)

1) YELLOW to YELLOW 0.13 OHMS

2) DARK GREEN/RED to GREEN/YELLOW 15 OHMS

3) DARK GREEN/RED to BROWN/WHITE 30 ohms

4) DARK BLUE/YELLOW to BLUE/YELLOW 2.4 ohms

5) WHITE/RED to WHITE 190 ohms

6) WHITE/DARK GREEN to DARK GREEN 190 ohms

7) BROWN /WHITE to GROUND 0 ohms

8) BROWN to GROUND 0 ohms

+/- 15% at 20* C

check your ecm make sure your voltage regulator didn't give up and fry your ecm.

I don't know if this will help, but on the edge's you could disconnect the black wire coming out of the motor and this would let you know if it was a safety switch or key switch problem( if you get spark when it is disconnected). Someone else might be able to tell you if this is still possiable. I am sure you have check all you connection.

FIXED

After checking everything simple we tested the stator and found an open lead. Pulled the stator and found it was toast! Thanks for all the help. Running great!
