what is a good brand to buy? are the worth the money? do you get good video from them? I have found some on ebay for 150.00-250.00 thinking of getting one what is your input? thanks

look into the hero camera from GoPro its all one unit and they work great

What is ther resolution and amount of time it can record?

1gb memory card (sd card) can record 1 hour of video. supposedly they were working on an update that you could program into it to make it hold a 2gb card and 2 hours a video but i dont know if that ever got done or not. as far as resolution i dont know the exacts but pretty damn good compared to the others i have seen. and this camera is under $200

If you already have a mini camcorder, you might like the setup that I have; I use a Viosport lens that connects to my Sony mini camcorder. Lens mounts on my helmet. I run the whole operation from a remote button that I hang on the front of my jacket/vest. Cam corder is buried in my pack and never comes out until after the ride is over. I spent around $300 a few years back.

Depends on what you are looking to spend.

I use the Viosport.
8gig card allows for high resolution recording for 6 hours on one card.

I got a Vholdr ohhh 3-4 months ago. I really like it. They just came with a HD version too. No cords, and simple operation. The video uploaded to the vholdr website is super clear, I just havent learned how to get the clarity when I mix it.

its comes w/ 3m adhesive mounts you can place anywhere... and then the camera frame has little push snaps that clip into the mounts
