Helmet Cam Mount

I just made my own.. My cam had the same nut inside that a camera has so that you can put it on a tripod. What I did was went to home depot bought some thick lexan and the right size pan head bolt. It was a 1/4-20 I cut the lexan into a small rectangle and then drilled a hole in the center. I put the bolt thru and then covered it all with heavy duty velcroe.. I used 2 set screws on to hold the bolt to the plastic and the other to keep the camera tight. It is perfect and cheap about $5.. Hope it helps.

You can get a mount at your local hardware store. It's called duct tape. One thing some people don't realize about bullet cams (aka helmet cams) is that angle and positioning is key. In order to keep your vid exciting, change it up. Else it gets old fast.

Personally, I just bring a roll and relocate the cam all day long. Try duct taping it to your hood looking back up, to the tunnel looking back at your buddy chasing you, ect..

If you wanna be really fancy, there's actual professional grade tape that isn't so prone to residue, but I find it don't stick as well in cold temps/wet.

Pick up some Gaffers tape. Like duct tape, only it won't leave any residue. Stays flexible longer and under harsher conditions (Works better on hot surfaces, haven't tried it on cold stuff).

For cleaning duct tape goo off stuff, there's a solvent called "Oil-Flo" that works really well. Takes that nasty dried masking tape adhesive off cables real well too.
