Helix? Chain length?

What size chain do I need with 19-41 gearing on a 05 900? Which helix would be better with this gearing and used riding low elevation trails and occasional deep out of these two 66-44-46/66-40-46 or 66-44-46/66-42-46?

yes sir...

19/41 and 18/40 will work on a stock 05 900, with the 90 pitch chain...never tried the 19/41 personally..but im sure someone will chime in and help out.

Ideally the second number on your helix should be 46 and your third one too. 44 for your second should work nice for you. I wouldn't run lower than that or you start running into the same issues with heating the stock one had. First number for deep powder Mountain riding 56 or 58 if you can find them. Higher first number (66) is going to make you launch harder if you have traction or trench more in deep snow.
