anyone have the details on the person that was airlifted off of hood hill
today??? All we know is someone fell off of the waterfall.

I saw the helicopter and then it looked like a smaller sled being towed away. Kinda figured it was the waterfall. I remember bailing off that years ago. Only need to do it once to remember where it is. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to put groomer poles or something up there to mark it, especially when there is a club weekend or something up there.

If I couldn't sled, I think I would fly.

Just need some 30' poles to put at the top of it so you could see them all winter. Every time I take a new person up there, the waterfall is the first thing I point out.

Exposed rock in lower center of picture is the waterfall. Of corse theres no actual water in the middle of the winter. But int he melting months it is a waterfall.

I've come up to it from above before and didn't realize where I was till it was almost to late. Always a good idea to pay attention to where you are when you ride around it.

That poor dad. :(

Even just a couple of 8' polls. Granted they would fall over about one a week in the spring, but if someone took a second while the smokers in their group sat at hood hill and replanted them it could really help prevent injury.

It would be that visual-reminder so many of us need.

It seems like almost everytime I go up there, somebody gets owned by that waterfall. Like said earlier, I try to tell anyone that has never been to Baker before, caution where the waterfall is.

P.P.
