Heli ski op

So what do you guys think of this one
We were on Boulder (Revy) yesterday, had a great day
We drop into helicopter bowl and find heliski flags at the bottom
Beside the flags there was a green tree that they had cut down within the last day so the chopper would clear
Whaddy do about that??

Could you turn them into the forest cops (not sure what the designation is for Canada).
Kinda like turning the tides on the greenies. I would say to take some pics and turn over to the press. Not that that would do any good.

Knowing those ***gers there prolly coming into sled area's, chopping tree's, then taking pic's and blaming us.

just take a pic of what they did then keep it some where, there will come a day when having somthing like that will be real handy.

Kinda like those pics of darko n that sheep I took last winter! LOL

Everybody has those pics! :eek:Not worth a penny!!:mad::D:beer;

Why do anything?

Isn't it easier to get along? Perhaps if we can show that heli skiing and snowmobiles can mix it'll be beneficial in the future.

Easier said than done. Them bastage Heli opp's are land GREEDY, it's been proven time and time again. Within a year or 2 you'll see them trying to lock down the land in question here. Not trying argue, i agree everyone should get along, unfortunatly i dont see it happening when they think the province recreation land should be all there's.

I agree, they get along til you put a track on their snow and then they act on it

This tree they cut down was obviously done late thursday or real early friday morning cuz there was only 5mm of snow on the stump, we got a couple of pics with ***i's cel phone camera (Edit: LOL, Foo Gee is now banned from snowest apparently)

Hey Casey, Riley wants to know if you tensioned his track recently LOL

Getting along will never happen, they pay $1500 a day and up for fresh tracks...they sure don't need any sleds tracking up there pow!Last year in Whistler the heli skiers sure looked pissed when the bowls we were tearing up had tracks all over it....1 drop for them and the were gone!Bye Bye

I wouldn't lump heli skiers into the greenies group. they are hated by the real greenies, just as we are. the only green way to ski is to hike up the mountain.
