heel clickers cra kit

just looking for some input on what is working is working the best.i just put their kit in a 09 163 ,and it seems to be pulling more top end track speed but up to about 40 mph it seems a little off. i am at lower elevation 3000 ft and less at home.but up to 7000 in the mtns. tried with one 1/4 hex bolt on the end and way to much revs . went to 2, 1/2 hex bolts and one threaded pin, which was about 7800ish ,on clicker #2,and that is what the instuctions call for for rpm. this is in fairly sugary snow. not sure why it is supposed to make more track hp at 7850 vs 8150.but it is not as strong as it was with the stock setup up to 40 mph.track speed going up a modest hill in the loose was about 65 mph.it also lost that surge feeling when the power valves start to open. one thing i did really like was it will hit and stick max rpm, and it seems very smooth. so i guess the ? is where does the weight go to get the best result and how much ?

53.5 grams as the instruction indicate is to heavy above 7000' im running 51.5 The instruction aso indicate to peak at 7900 R's which is not enough. keep in mind every "mass motor produced " runs at a slightly differant rpm. With that said 8000 to 8100 seem to be spot on for my 163 XP.

Also which ramps are you running ? Running the trail ramps 0 to 6000 ft instead of the mountain ramps 7000 to 10,000 ft could also be part of the problem.

it is a h/a kit so it should have the h/a ramps.so when i pull some weight out should it come out of the hollow pin or the tip.also what does the roller weigh ? will shoot for about 8200 on clicker # 2 this time around. thanks for the info ..

Yes add/subtract weight in the pin. The roller on my digi scale = 1.3 grams. Once you add the cotter pin and washers = 1.5 grams.

As i mentiones the instructions are baseline setup and each motor will require minor fine tuning with wieght to see excellent clutching performance.
