Heavy duty skid plate tip of the day

When you install cats new heavy duty skid plate put a rivet and some washers in place of the bolt on the clutch side.
Cat sends a bolt in the package that sticks out towards your primary clutch. It only misses by about a 1/4". The first problem is that you could hit a hard drift and ram the bolt straight into the primary. The second problem is, there is no way you can get your belt off.

Its also a good idea to use bolts/screws instead of rivets in case you need to repair something you dont need a drill to get the rivets out.
