Heater & generator for enclosed trailer

Looking at adding a propane heater in my enclosed trailer and was wondering if anyone has used the Procom heaters? Now I know these heaters aren't forced air but you can add a fan to them and their price is right. Can't really afford to do an Atwood/Suburban furnace and space is a consideration also.

Looking also at having a small portable generator along for lights and such when out, what are you using? Looked at Honda generators, dealer said should buy their EU2000i one, but at $1000+ was more then I could afford. Don't need the best out there.

Thanks for any help/information.

I know they cost a bunch but the honda eu2000 and 3000 are the most dependable quiet generators out there..period i have the 3000 and its one great little generator.

The hondas are great generators Yamaha are just as good and a little cheaper I have a eu3000 but thinking of selling it and getting a 2000 as they are much easier for one person to move around. Kipor are cheap and some people have good luck with them some don't you might look for onan gen set out of a motor home i see them go on craigslist for not a lot of money and mount it permanently. I used forced air then have a radient heater on a 20 foot hose i can move around to get heat where i need it so far works fantastic

I have en EU2000 and an EU6500.
They are both FANTASTIC generators.
The little EU2000 will go and go and go on a gallon of gas.

I have a procom heater in my trailer. It will warm the trailer up, but it makes alot of moisture and stinks. If I were to do it all over again I would buy a vented heater.

For generators get a 2000 size generator. I have a 1000 yamaha and it will run the lights and fan together but has a hard time just running a small heat gun.

I like my ef2400is yamaha generator, has enough power for a small microwave and run the inverter to power the lights and heater.
its bigger then a honda 2000 size wise but also packs more punch and its super quiet.

Which are you considering?

Just looking at these and hadn't decided on which one.

Thanks for the information on the moisture and odor.

Going to keep looking for heaters and generators, hopefully find a good sale on either one.

Thanks again for everyones comments.
