heated visor killed my 900

I am wondering if any one knows what would cause plugging in a heated visor to kill the engine on my sled. It was wired direct to the battery, which is the way I bought it, now I have no spark. thanks

Did you check battery? Is it dead? Stator is a known issue on some of the 9's.

so both the ground and the positive wire are hooked to the battery? if you unplug the visor does it run?

If the sled ran when you got it, and the heated visor wire was installed then, and and the sled has no spark even when you unhook the visor wire then im pretty darn sure that's Not your problem especially if its just wired to the battery

the sled ran great until the moment I plugged in my helmet. After that it will not start due to no spark, I am thinking the stator is fried now. I dont understand why having a heated visor plug wired direct to the battery would cause this, still hoping to find a melted wire. Thanks.
