Heated floor that doesn't ice up.

Hydronic with quick-coupler along with a quick-coupler setup on the tow vehicle cooling system would be nice.

Vehicle engine heat would thaw the sled out while in tow and a fuel-fired water heater could heat trailer otherwise.

Now THAT is a heck of an idea.
Hydronic coming off of the engine WOULD develop a load of heat!!

I have black marine carpet and it definitely minimizes ice build up. All rubber compound, drains fast and black brings in the heat. Very easy to manage with a broom if ice starts to build. When was the last time you had to chip the ice off your truck tires before you drove off?

When you get a chance, toss up a couple pics of the inside of your trailer, would ya?

trailer

My Trailer has infloor heat i use a propane aqua hot system that at 15 degrees below 0 or warmer i can get 9 days running none stop. keep floors at 68 degrees its almost hot inside. I used warm board with pex and plated the top with aluminum. 2 inch insulated walls and ceiling with spray foam and 4 inch spray foam in floor.

I would LOVE to know more about your install.

My next trailer will have Pex running in the floor with a Webasto heating it. I've seen a lot of inexpensive webasto's and others at truck wrecking yards.

How many gallons of engine coolant would cycle through the trailer before it gets back to the engine?
Would it make the truck coolant level run MUCH cooler than normal when the trailer is hooked up?
Would it keep the truck from achieving a proper "operating temperature", especially in the winter?
