Heated carb cr500

So does the cr500 push enough power from the standard stator to run a ktm carb heater?

I just retrofitted the heater to my 450 thumper and I am running mine on switched DC but when reading the directions from KTM which are meant for the 300 2 stroke it looks like the heater ties into the AC output from the stator on that bike so I don't think it's mandatory to have a battery you just need a large enough stator to power the heater and everything else.

Do you think the yz250f stock stator will push enough to cover it? Or will I have to upgrade?:yo:

You will need to figure that one out based on the year of bike and what the stator puts out and what the bike needs to run and how much power is left over. I have no idea.

I was trying to figure out a way to do this for my 05 ktm 450 with battery. Where did you install it on the carb? I've looked for a place it could go and am at a loss. It's a keihin FCR flat.

I built a custom boss that bolts on to the carb. I took pictures but I can't upload them beacuse I can't find my Nikon camera cable, of course they can't just use a USB like everybody else in the world. I have a feeling I may have left it at the cabin.
