Headphones

What headphones is the most comfortable to use while riding?? have an ipod and just havent found headphones that are comfortable to use with helment on.
thanks:beer;

Check this site out. I got a set of the $25 ones and they work great with my ipod shuffle. The little shuffle clips under my visor so I have a completely self contained unit with no wires to worry about. I was only about $80 into the complete set up, including ipod.

that looks good!

but got a question.. how did you set it up? looks like there big speakers.. did ya put them behind the foam of the helment?

To be helmet

Talk to Josh on here (tobetechnologyusa) and buy a new helmet. The have built in speakers that your ipod will hook right into. Plus they are very light at 2.75 lbs. I rode with one on this weekend and it is a sweet lid.:beer;

Skull Candy

I just picked up my Skull Candy phones...I really like them, good sound and a pretty good price tag on em. They don't fall out of your ear like my last sets......I'd tell ya how they work while riding, but there's NO SNOW! :(;)

heard ipods were interfering with avy beacons. something to think about and look into. ski

ya i know that.. thats why your not suppose to have the ipod on while hillclimbing. only while boondocking in the trees, and riding the trials back to the truck once you hillclimbing its time to shut it off

thanks for the link I actually use a zune which has a radio tuner in it I bet it will mess with the beacon more than a actual ipod

earphones

I took some over the ear headphones (ones with smooth vinyl against your ear and removed the speakers from the headphones then wired the headphones again and mounted them inside my helmet, then I wied them to a quick disconnect plug between my ear and mouth hanging down (riveted to my helmet) when someone talks to me all I do is disconnect the connection and I hear fine. they are not real loud but plenty to hear whats playing. I use an I Pod Nano (no hard drive)

if anyone is interested I will send pictures my e-mail is

They velcro in your ear pockets, not behind them. On my helmet they sit just off my ear. I use a motocross style helmet.

Another vote for the Skull Candy earbudds. They have an adjustment for volume on the chord so you don't have to mess with your MP3 player. They also come with different size budd replacements for different size ears. Reasonable price too.

Skull Candy ear buds all the way !!! they are like a hearing aid and go inside ur ear ! very comfortable !!!
