Headlights don't work on 06 summit 800

I just noticed that the headlights are not working on my 06 Summit 800. Any ideas what is wrong?

Do your handle bars warmers work? If not replace the cheap azz relay under the cowling right above the secondary clutch.

agree on the relay. check to see if power is going to them. if not, tap the relay with a hammer and if they flash on and off, replace it.

If it is the relay (most likely if your gauges don't work either) you can get one for 1/3 of the dealer price at Napa - part no. AR143.

Had the same thing happen on my '05 Renegade. It's a simple relay failure and very common. Some guys carry extras with them in just in case. Cost me $70 for the dealer fix before I heard the relay can be bought at NAPA or other auto parts sellers for about $10.
