I was out riding my 2001 rmk 800 the other day and i was lucky enough to have my speedo cable break out of the back of the speedo and fall into my clutch at wot, didnt do too much damage to the clutches managed to get all the peices of belt and cable out and it still runs, just scratched up my clutch sheaves a bit.
my wires got chewed just a tiny bit, that day too and that evening i realized i had no headlights. dont know if this is the cause of my lights not working though because they seem to all be intact still and not shorting out, but cant get the headlight to work, the lights on the dash still work and even the blue highbeam light on the dash lights up when i hit the headlight switch but no headlight, it blinked once when i was hitting the switch the night it quit working, and havnt been able to get any light since,
should i try a new switch or is there something else i should check,
