headlight options

well i had to remove the headlight on my pro for my turbo install. i would like to have the option of putting on a light. is there any options out there?

Mark, I'm a huge fan of the lead dog. I prefer it over any stock headlight. I remove my headlight to save weight. The lead dog comes with a plug that you can wire into your hi or low beam wire, and a ground.(that's where I wired mine anyways) And the light itself has a cord with a plug to attach and boom, you're powered. The base of the light has velcro and the kit comes with another strip of velcro to place on your helmet. I carry my light in my pack when not in use. The spotlight beam may not be as bright as an oem headlight overall, but having light where you point your head is the way to go.

The Cyclops that I got, puts out 900 Lumens of excellent usable light. I just use it with the battery pack stuffed in my pocket. It can be wired into the sled if you like but haven;t found a need to do it. Very sano setup. Hi/Lo beam as well as strobe (great when you get stuck and need to signal your buddy for help, lol)

lead dog

X2 on lead dog. Im a big fan of the look of headlight delete & with the addition of my turbo its nice to free up what ever power you can, given the pro is lacking in that area.

I'm a fan of the Trail Tech lighting... VERY high quality and a Washington based business.

They have some killer light setups. Including high output Halogen post-mount options that easy to hook up .

If you go with a helmet light... the new Li-ion battery units give you a long burn time and leave free to move around... get unstuck etc..

Remember... HID's on PRO RMK's... some have problems with them (including me).

They make both the HID in Helmet and Vehicle mounts.

One cool option out there is the LED light bar from Cyclops... super bright...Low amp draw... Hopefully they can post some better pics soon.
