Headlight goes dim! Help

I have an old Excel 340 for smashing coyotes, out riding last night, dark as hell, and my headlight goes really dim, check all the wires, everything good. Ride a bit, goes bright again, dimmer switch functioning properly. Any suggestions? Voltage Regulator?

got to be the wires

pretty sure its the wiring try pulling the wires out of there connection point probably corroded inside the sheath every bump on off on off f--- also voltage regulator could have corroded terminals try some sand paper on the contact points . What about ground maybe sand that as well . First clean off the coyote blood , old sled old wires could be any one of the fn things. good luck hope i helped
