headlight delete

took the headlight out of my summit. i know im not the only one. what do you guys use to blockoff the openings in the hood?

Can I ask why you took the head light out? If its fro venting there is so many more free/cheap vent mod you can do.

nope just building a custom sled. dont want any extras. the more room under the hood and less wiring the better. dont run at night

I covered them up with Home Depot screen door mesh. Works well. I used 3M adhesive from NAPA to attach the mesh to the hood.

I cut up a $6 black wire mesh waste paper basket I got at Wallmart, formed it around the head light and riveted it on (not an X-P but you should get the idea. Pics in Yamaha sec later tonight.

I think Frog Skinz makes a tick on vent that may cover be big enough.. look em up..
