headlight delete question

i have a sled with 2012 electronics...need to do a headlight delete...have read thru the great threads regarding the issues....just wondering, i have two new ac regulators...can i wire them in to replace the headlight? will this work the same as some of the other options out there?

Thinking no...as the more i read it sounds like i need something to replace the load on the system of the headlights...i don't thing a regulator does this??? Thanks

Apperently you need a resistor so replace the load of the headlights, I'm myself trying to figure this out on my 2014.

2lbs maybe is not worth frying a grand in electronics... Plus the biggest complaint I got the year I did it was we cant see you in **** weather.

I cooked my handwarmers due to not running headlights, orderd the resistor and was informed by another member that it didn't work very well. Got fed up and put everything back to stock
