Headlight delete on KK

Do I need to mount a resistor if I remove the headlight on my KK??

Yup, 1Ms were designed to be able to take the whole hood off and run easily.

Yeah, no problems. I have two hoods, one stock with head light and one vented & headlight deleted with vent.

I think i'm going to put some fog lights behind the headlight vent because the cops hassle us for not having a headlight, even during the day and even though we dont ride trail.

Built this delete myself with abs plastic and uv screen from Lowes worked great also made my own side vents on the back of the hood. Ran it like this and no taillight for over 1000 miles no problems.

looks very nice knuts, how did you attach the screen under the stock vent holes?

I cut and formed it to go in front of the stock wire mesh and held it in with the stock clips

knuts - that looks like some really nice work you've done there. You wouldn't happen to have any other close-up pictures of your headlight delete would you? Any from the inside (of the hood) as well?

obvious you have sleds that multiply in your shop looking at all the 1M chassies in there!!!!

Thats all the pics I can find I wrecked the sled a few years ago just after this pick, bent the tunnel and tore the chaincase from the bulkhead.
