Headlight delete kit and electronics

On the IQ's I know you needed a resistor or a bigger voltage regulator to keep the electronics from failing.

I am doing a headlight delete on a pro with a led light. I am not sure if the pro chassis need the resistor or voltage regulator or not.

People with experience or first hand knowledge could you chime in and let me know?
