Headlight Delete and Lighting options: Blown Motor & Mountain Fit Hoods Style

Mountain Fit Hoods delete with Rigid Industries SR-M2 in driving pattern. Light from Blown Motor, delete from Mountain Fit Hoods with Bill's direct wiring harness that plugs into factory headlight plug, also has built in rectifier. Thinking of adding a second one for other side, but with helmet mount Halo 800, I think I have plenty of light. The helmet mount is a Rigid Industries HALO 800 from Blown Motor. Puts out 800 Lumens. This thing is bright, 1000' beam. Light on sled and light on helmet pointing wherever you look, best of both worlds, helmet light attaches to a GoPro mount. You could mount to sled also, keep light in pack till needed.

Cool, so where did you get the go pro flashlight kit? Blown Motor? I couldn't find it on their website. Then on the Headlight, where does it mount to?

not sure if the photos are there or not, but this is the kit I run for flashlight attachment. Its 860 lumens, ultra light and comes with 2 batteries, chargers, and patented go-pro mount. Will post a pic of it on the helmet later tonight. It pretty fricken sweet for those deleting headlights and want ultra lightweight alternative to get you out at night.

Talk to Shane at Blown Motor, he is a Rigid Industries light dealer, the flashlight is a Rigid Industries light, not GoPro, they are not on the Blown Motor website. The flashlight attaches to a GoPro mount, but is not made by GoPro. As far as the head light, it is mounted to custom made aluminum bracket, that attached to an ABS shelf that is riveted into to base of the headlight delete.

Been doing the R&D on this lil fella for a little while with PawPaw, and will probably never put them on the site, but you can send us a message and we can get you details on the setup and a price! Just something else to offer that is a top notch product that we believe in, that can be used year round if need be!

I run the 6 led light from cyclops mounted on the handle bars it is more then enough light.

But when you are riding out of the backcountry and not on a flat trail the light follows your bars, not where you are going. We have tried lights on bars before and it is hard to sidehill out of a spot when you counter steer and the lights are into the trees vs. on the hill.
