Headlight Cover

I'm wanting to find a black headlight cover for my 2007 Summit X. Anyone know where I can find them? Thanks for any replies

They have them in the shade tree powersports catalog and sporttech makes them. says they are 38 bucks

headlight cover

i took some of that black nonslip checkerboard stuff you would line the bottom of your tool box with, and hot glued it in spots to the out side of the lens. it looks great and might even add some protection to the lens. it will even allow light to pass through. the only draw back might be that the snow might biuild up. well i guess i will find out this weekend. good luck

I tried covering mine with petscreen and glued it around the edges. After about 2 minutes of running the headlight lens will start to melt because it can't get rid or enough heat, so off it came. I just ordered a set of blackout covers that are supposed to velcro on, this is supposed to leave enough room between the lens and the cover for heat to escape. I can't remember his name, but go on ebay, go to snowmobile parts and acc. Search for headlight covers and you should find them right away.

I tried 2 sets on my rev and melted both covers.

Did you have the velcro on them? They claim that that helps keep the air flowing between the lense and cover.
