headlight and sound laws

doe's california have a headlight law and are the law picky about rumble pacs on snowmobiles im doing a trip to cali and bringing my m and a spare and my good spare is loud and has poly hood with no light

No headlight law as far as i know,unless of course it is night time.Depends where in cali you are riding when it comes to exhaust.They don't check either where i ride.West side of sonora pass.I would not worry if i were you!!

Love my rumble pack.... everyone can always tell where I am at when we get seperated! There has been talk of rangers with db meters up here in northern ca. but I have yet to see one.
