Me and a few friends are planning to head to Mccall this weekend and I am looking for some info on good riding areas and snow conditions ect ,any help would be appreciated . Thanks

You may well get lucky, forecast is for snow the rest of the week......how much remains to be seen. We have had a bit of a dry spell lately and the snow is a little used up.

Do your snow dance!!!!

Lol, understatment. :) Bring your scratchers. I put 200 miles on my new Freeride in the last week, luckily it has a ton of idlers. Would never have ridden those miles on my Summit. A couple inches Sat night helped.
There must be no snow other places? I have never in my life seen so many trucks parked at Francis Wallace, literally over a half mile of trucks/trailers lining the road because the lot was full. All with Washington/Oregon plates. With no measurable snow in the last month or so, things are tracked out to say the least. Hopefully we get some soon.

We are heading down too! Keep an eye out for us! Snow looks to be good for this week, I have been dancing al morning!!

Thanks for the imput,Im doing the snow dance, lol! What are some of the better spots to go in the Mccall area??

We're heading down this weekend too. We've been dancing for the last two weeks!

Given where you live why would you come south to ride?

Sounds like north Idaho has better snow then the southern part of the state. Unless the reports I'm hearing about the riding around the Priest Lake area aren't true :face-icon-small-win

We have really great riding here. Priest Lake, Tressel Creek, Pac River and Avery are just a few but McCall has good riding too and you have to admit it always nice to get away.

the mccall club is hosting a wounded warrior ride sat am from francis wallace lot. there will be a few of us around the groomer shed till 10 am or so. stop by and I will happily give you some directions . :face-icon-small-coo
