Abby & I are gonna head down to Cb on Thursday, stay the night in Gunni, then ride Friday as well.

Anybody else up for a ride either of those days?

btw, is Robinson basin ready to ride yet? I'm hoping to get some drops in, but since I don't know what it's like under the snow I'm a little leery...

Thinking about staying till & riding sat, anybody gonna be riding then?

Actually kindof thinking about heading to the snowies instead maybe, sounds good up there right now also.

Never been there, so I'd want to ride with someone else that knows the place (and I don't mean the trails!)

Hard to get away on Xmas....guess its one of the benny's of riding with the wife :beer;

Lots of natural slides down south this weekend....I mean alot of visible slides down to the dirt. Tested the waters and still need another dump or two before I would feel comfortable dropping anything into that thin of snow.

Have a great ride

Notice that there are 2 slides in each of the last 2 pics.

Oh, it's ok Dave, avy danger is only moderate, it can't slide when it's only moderate.:p

Yeah, that's one reason I'm looking for other folks to ride with. With Just Abby & I we tend to go places we wouldn't with others along.

That's one reason I'm thinking about switching to up north, but all you lazy bastards are gonna be sitting at home eating dead birds!!

unfortunately, snowies does require a lot of trail riding...compared to alot of CO locations i've ridden.

check my post on BCR in WY on snowies conditions. should be good after this storm their getting. :)

expect STUPID amounts of sledders up there tho... =\ and probably 3/4 of them being midwesters and Denvernites.

btw, do you prefer your bird still squirming w/o its head as you eat it, or what? ;)
