Awesome last ride of the year at Tampico. Summ8rmk, 94fordguy, sleddude, Glenn and myself. Got the usual late spring start (or should I say Summer) and whole lot of funny looks form other people. We were even accused of being hardcore (nice meeting Crashcade in his old school Bronco). Weather was fantastic. Spent over half the day "working our way back to the truck". Finally got there at 8:45. It was past 10:30 when I got home. Thanks everyone for a great 9 month long season (November thru July). {Is there anywhere to ride in August? LOL} Sure wish Devin (Tampico) and Jerry (Bagger) could have been there to enjoy it with us. You better get that shoulder healed up Bagger, winter is just around the corner (the days are getting shorter).

LMAO... we started heading back to the truck at 6 and it was only about 3 miles away... took us nearly 3 hours to get there.... GOTTA LOVE IT!!!!! Great pics Mark:beer;:beer;

Fantastic ride, definitely a ton of fun! Hard to believe we went sledding in July and made a full day of it.

I've got a ton of pics and videos and helmet cam videos to sort through today, I know there's some good stuff on there:face-icon-small-hap

Hey guys,
I grew up over in the Yakima valley (Zillah). Where is the snow park for that area. do you go up through White swan? looks like a good area, mabe next year I will take a drive over and ride. wish I could get my friends to ride this late in the season, half to look for people on here all the time for late season riding.

That was cool to get a last ride in July. I wish my sled wouldn't of abused me so bad, dang thing beat the tar outta me. Might be time to find a lighter model.

There are advantages to a heavier sled, just remember what 94fordguy said while trying to back down the hill a bit, "My sled is heavy enough that I don't need reverse"


But yes indeed, the snow conditions were not the most desirable. It was much like riding on the surface of an overgrown golf ball. There is something to be said for fresh powder.:face-icon-small-ton
 
Man you guys rock !!! I am SO envious !

However while you guys were having to suffer through that, I was enjoying finishing up my roof! I sure over heated !!

And all ya'll had for company was a bunch of guys, I had a purty girl helping me! HAHAHAHA.

Mark, surgery is Thursday AM. Should be good to go by Sept/Oct !

Haha, the first of several visits with some friendly trees... they seemed to be in the way much more than usual this trip for some reason:rolleyes::D

Caution, I did drop an "S" bomb at about 0:50 in this one:eek::nono:
