Going to be in Vernon next week. Looking for a little information on areas to ride, places to eat, ect.....

lets just hope we get some more snow out here, its been really mild last few days. what kind of riding are you looking for? i dont know too many areas myself either, but if nobody else can help you, let me know i may have a few ideas, depending on your riding preferance.

Thanks for the reply. We will have the ladies with us so trail and boondocking for half the time and anything goes for the other half. I ride an M1000 and my buddy has a M8, both 09's and ready to ride. Would be happy to meet for some beers to get the lowdown. We will be there this Sat and staying a week. Both have decks so can travel to where-ever. All have 2-3 gal extra fuel on sleds for those long days. Anyone with infomation feel free to shoot me an email. hdave34@yahoo.com THKS DAVE

i certainly would be interested in joining the ride once or twice... unemployed and bored. just not sure how many outings i can afford.
No plans yet. Might not ride Sat cause we need to travel, stock up on food and drink then find the house we rented. I will take laptop and check for messages when we get there or send email and I will reply with my phone number. We are game for steep and deep with the guy's and fun rides when we take the gals. Look forward to meeting up with anyone who wants to ride.
hey guys, yeah i'm up for any kind of riding on weekdays, as long as i have enough cash left lol.
so here is my plan... sunday me and a buddy are heading up silverstar to ride the trails and do a bit of boondocking. he has my old homebuilt sled... what a contraption lol and it needs a bit of tuning... hence the trail ride. also may be the only day he can join me, so i dont want to leave him behind going deep and steep riding. plus i may have another friend with his girls (teens) maybe joining.
starting monday i'm up for anything steep and deep will do. i have only been up hunters once, and been told to watch out where ya go cause ya might not get back out if ya get into some of the bowls up there... would be nice if a hunters range rider could join us...

All sounds good. Another question...We will have three ArticCats, is there an ArticCat dealer or shop around???
we just had a new AC dealesrship added on outskirts of town.... plus SalmonArm has a dealership as well....they are about 45 min away. and 40 min to kelowna is another one hehehe this Cat country here

Got here(Vernon) lastnight. Hope there is snow up higher, looks marginal around here. Plan on doing a easy ride at Silverstar today, break in a sled with new topend.
we should be at the parkinglot around 10:30 you'll know us... a powder special and the other an old eltigre with ahemmm the wrongh colors lol
well, looks like i may be down for the count... engine in my sled has developed one heck of a vibration at low rpm... just off idle at the worst... then as the rpm increases, the vibration slowly goes away. no vibration at full throttle.
hope maybe its something as easy as a screwed clutch... as i have a spare. gona wrench on it tonite.

Nice to meet you Gary, hope you had better luck than I. Does anyone know where I can get a throttle cable for my M1000 on a Monday?
could try canadian tire, but i kinda doupt it. also look up Full-Lotus or Rotech... down by the vernon airport. they both deal with rotax engines for light aircraft... they may have something in stock.
