headed to Baker need help!?!?!?!?!

hey guys and gals i am heading to baker tomorrow hopefully i was just hoping someone can give me ideas on where to ride. I have never been up there so im wondering what the best place to ride out of. Any help that would be great, thanks in advance!

Baker Lake turn off. Park at main lot and follow the tracks into the fog. When you can't see the tips of your skis and you can't see your buddy right behind you....you know you have arrived. Welcome to Mt.Baker!!!

really!?! it gets that socked in up there? seems like if you go up higher it might clear out?

Yeah, if you don't know where you are going, ride the road until you turn left accross the creek. About 1/4 mile up you will be in the meadows and they should be fun for a bit. After that, follow the trail up the creek where it opens up for a few hundred yards and then you can powder carve back down over and over. Usually good vis in there and most of the creek holes are filled right now. Above that it will be fogged and snowing hard.

thanks guys and keep the info coming, is anyone planning to go up tomorrow as well? is the Mount Baker NRA sno-park the main/best one to ride from?

Mt Baker snowpark is the only way in and you will be lucky if you get out of the Meadow it will be totally socked in up there! I have been up there on beautiful days and within Min's its a total white out! But its fun times up there! Im heading for Gold creek tomorrow!
