Head mod today

I like the 2008 head over the 2010-2014 head. Milled changes to a 2008 head today. Going to try the chordal bowl width and chamber radius we used on our old big block race sleds. Hope to get it tested on the snow shortly. The head on the left is a stock 2008 and the one on the right incorporates the changes.

08' heads are 14:1 comp right? Do your changes raise or lower that number? Are you testing on a stock or your turbo sled?

It's for the long rod. It's 37.9cc uninstalled. I will need to check squish when it's installed. On the old big blocks we ran 15/1 on Premium with these changes. Will try to install it on a stocker for a test run if I can get the boys to go riding. I ran a stock 08 head, cut .007", on the long rod the last two years.
Can't remember the 08-09 compression ratio.

Hey Tony how did the head work out or are you going to wait till next year ? What are the difference between your head and a PA head ?

Didn't get it on the snow. Hope to get a test this year.
I'm at Dover this week. NASCAR.
They are a different design.

I have a 2009 stock head for sale. Was used for about 300 miles before I bought another stock 2009 head and modified it.
