I am needing some info on some small mountable lights, since i have done a vented headlight delete from mountain hoods.Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I went after market hood and bought some HID trail tech lights for mine. They look good so far, need to wire them in yet though before I'll know how they shine. But I have heard great reports.

thanx for the info.i like the mounting inside the hood.are these trail tech lights under the hood? rn8 is that a polaris hood with the carbon fiber look or is it real?

not sure on the brand of headlight. The hood is a Fastrax carbon fiber hood. The real deal!

The Visions are very nice lights and everybody from Cabellas to 4x4 warehouse can get them for you... For a comparable size the Solstice puts out half the light of an HID MR-16.

The price is about the same. The LED's draw only 10watts per light.

A friend of mine ran these on his sandrail with a big array they are stackable... nice clean light output.

I'm still more of a fan of the HID's for quality of light output.

Can't believe that you still have the stock seat. My was so slick that as soon as it got cold with snow on it, it was so slick it was hard to stay on it. I just recovered it and now it works much better. Do you have the same problem, or did they change the material. My sleds an 08, isn't yours and 09?

Material was changed in 2010. They are a bit grippier, at least from my 2009.

My 2009 is a little slick but I am not usually sitting much.

My seat also gets super slick, but I also try to stand most of the time. Did you buy a cover if so from who?

haha neither can I.... Mine is an 08 as well, and yes very slick... I would like to get the skinz seat, but might end up only getting their cover. Or I'll just leave it as is. I don't sit much so I don't notice it to much. But when I do sit it's really annoying.
