ummm i was unaware that palin was running for presidency...and i might just add that we weren't voting for the bush administration again either. I'm not trying to bash Mrs Snowrider but the comment you just made was rather ignorant....just shows the feces the mainstream media was spewing.

I did not see any posting which claimed Palin was running for president, it was simply a comparison of the intelligence comparison between palin and obama. And nowhere was the bush admin mentioned. I don't think snowrider absorbs the media bias and I sure don't think she is ignorant. Swampy

I thought the media where the ones that keep comparing Obama to Palin? Wasn't it them, that keep talking about "one heart beat away from President"? And, I have to say that Palin would be Obama's antithesis in every way. Can't say she was any smarter. Can't say she's as deviant either.

Personally, I could care less if Obama wants to make friends with communist and socialist and dictators. After all, isn't that what most think he wants to be? You hang out with like minded people. Obama just wants to hang out with like minded rulers. Just divulges his mental orientation.
thats what i was getting at...it's the media who was comparing the democratic president elect to the republican vice president elect...not the president. which is why the statement in itself is ignorant because that is what the media portrayed. whether they are a heatbeat away or not sarah palin was NOT running for president which is why she should not have been compared to the 'chosen one'

Not to be biased. My opinion is that this comparison of highness vs. Palin was drummed up by the media. If you think about it, Palin was a threat to the Dems even as a Vice Presidential candidate. She is a breath of fresh air to the public, attractive, a mother, has moral values, vs. the same old Hillary Clinton. It seems that the comparison vs. his highness could be a bit premature, maybe a preclude to 2012? My.o2

never said you were wrong however even the title of the thread doesnt imply who this thread is about. The post that was made is a news article about newt charging barack. being that obama is the president it is an implication. Niether one of them (palin or obama) possess the credentials to be president of the USA however only one of the 2 were running for that position (obama) I am fully aware that the media exploited palin because the dems are afraid of her (in a political sense) they still bash her and go on about her. As for talking about the bush admin, they mainstream media exploited the hell outta them too making it sound like a vote for republicans means another 4 years of the bush adminstration. It was an addition to my defense on how the media used analogies that don't even compare to each other in any way shape or form. I'm very conservative but one thing that we need to be careful about is making gross assumptions and cutting through the crap that is being shoved in the faces of all americans.
