I just bought a 09 HCR and was wondering what can to put on it to save some weight from the stocker? Anyone using a aftermarket can on theres?

It's the same as an M8... Try an MBRP can, I love mine on my 1000.

I ran the SLP can on mine for a couple of rides before I put on the complete system. Sled seem to run well with no bogs. I have also heard good things about the Super-Q. The SLP is not much louder than stock and gave it a nice rumble.
Hey i got a D&D big dog barker can on my HCR and it is awesome sounding. It is a deep loud rumble like a harley. I got the D&D Ypipe on my too makes it a bit louder and i noticed a bit better throttle response playing in the trees. I got a AMP 2" riser on too they are a MUST it moves the bars forward too that is the best part about it i think. Personally i would ride it for a year stock and then see what you want to do to it yourself and what you like. But put the can on for sure, you will love this sled it is a ball to ride. i run a jaws can. sounds really good. shed nearly 8lbs! i run a speedwerx Y pipe and intake as well. the sled doesn't need much to be honest. i hang with the big boys all day long and will out climb a stock M10 with a bigger track. have done this many times. you'll love this sled!
