HCR rail adjustment

I have an 05, M7 I put 09 HCR rails on and the float conversion. The rear scissor arm has two holes it can go in on the rails. I tried the front hole that looked to be my most conventional place and it seemed to transfer a little more than I wanted. I figured I would try the rear holes and see how it affected things. Seems to transfer less. I still needed less transfer so I increased the air in the rear show from 90 to 120. This felt pretty good. What spot are you gus running your skid in?

This is the hole:

Here is how it looked in the front hole with 90 psi:

I think you may damage the rear shock, cause of internal metal to metal contact, when topping out.
Fronts Airs have a internal rubber bumper to stop this.

In stock positions the rear stops and limiter strap stop this from happening.

Way to think out of the box though.

Stock position

My 2010 HCR is in the stock position which is the forward hole.

My last ride I set the rear float at 140 psi, but I am 230 with gear.
Front skid shock is softened up and limiter all the way loose. I was happy with the transfer.

If you are looking for less transfer, I would start with the limiter strap (shorten for less), and then adjust your rear float to get 1 to 1-1/2" of sag when you sit on the sled.
