anyone with one or if you know someone with one have them pull their pipe and inspect their pistons. out of the 4 HCR's sold here 2 have blown with the exact scoring on the pistons..(egg shape) they both had under 90 miles. hopefully this is just an iscolated case for mine is A-ok. these sleds are effin deadly! so happy with it.
just a friendly caution. would rather see the problem then have to be towed out of the tains....

you took your pipe off and checked? the one sled still ran strong didnt seize.....it was a matter of a ride or two. the other died. i hope everything is well with yours! how do you like them? i cant get over how quick they are. has your seat softened up a bit now with that many miles? my seat is starting to but holy **** its stiff.....thinking of gel inserts or something. take care!

i really hope its just these 2 sleds! thses things are so impressive wouldnt want to tarnish that!

Besides the Ti clutch springs, is the clutching the same as a std M8? Is the DD gearing the same?

Lean through the mid range. if you run at 1/4-3/4 throttle you probably will burn them down. On the throttle or off, thats how they need to be ridden...
300+ miles on mine... but i have heard of a few others burning down
