hcr/crossfire ski stance

i just ordered my first cat. a 2010 crossfire 800. i believe the crossifre and the hcr both have a wider ski stance than the m sleds. just wondering if they are that much harder to throw around and sidehill becasue of the wider stance. would it be worth switching to m arms, shocks and tierods or not that much difference.

I have heard guys doing it switching, but i have a HCR and it is NOT hard at all to sidehill or throw around very easy no effort 100 times better then my old M. My 2 cents:beer;

move the ski spacers, to set at 42". then follow the post above, you will be good to go!

Different strokes....

I put holz arms on mine & it is MUCH easier to sidehill at low speed. At higher speed/ full throttle the tranfer keeps the skis up & they're a non issue, but at low speed it was harder to pull over. Very happy switched.

Btw, there are always people looking for the wide stance, you can usually switch for free, or if you upgrade to holz or whatever it should cost less than $200 all said & done. (the holz are a tad over 6lbs lighter than the xfire/hcr arms, cheap weight loss)

no problems sidehilling with my crossfire with stock a arms, and skis at stock setting.
