Haydays swapping

Just reserved my swap spots for Hayday's and was looking for some pointers being this is my first time actually swapping... How does the picking the spots work, is it first come first serve or do they start you in the back row and fill to the front or vise versa? Do they allow sleeping in trucks,trailers,tents,etc..? It says the gates open at 12:00 on Friday. What happens if I get there at say 10:00 o'clock do they let you sit on the side of the street or make you circle the block till the gates open? Thanks

There will probably already be a line started by 10. ..last year we got there a little late so went right in to the staging area. .then sat for 3 hours waiting to get inside the actual grounds. .. ..once you get thru the gate they'll lead you to a row and just fit you in according to the number of spaces you bought..you don't get to chose your spot. They will ask which side of the row you need to be on if you have a trailer and it has doors that have to open on a particular side. And yes, you can camp in your trailer or anywhere in your spot..bring a grill and grub and yer pretty self sufficient. ..don't count on any food being available on friday either. . vendors generally don't start preparing food til saturday morning. .
