Who's all going? I myself have never been so looking forward to it. I hear you can get some good deals on gear looking for bibs ,helmet for daughter and new helmet goggles for me.

Out in the Garage packin' tubs right now. .we're headin' up thursday eve and be goin in nice n early friday morning .. woohoo..can't wait!!. .

I'll be in line early Friday morning. Can't wait, hope to find lots of stuff I don't need. anyone interested in a 08 iqr carls 660 155 pm me. I'm selling mine

If you don't mind buying last year gear, you can get some good deals. If you want the new stuff from Klim, 509 and avy stuff- the deals are not that big. Good time going there but you can get the same deals on new stuff online for the most part. Just my opinion.

Was there 2 years ago. This year I have a swap space. Just wondering what to expect checking in on Friday. How long are the lines and wait to get in to set up? How early should I get their on Friday?

For swap on Friday I would be there by 7:30 to 8 if you don't want to be stuck waiting in line drinking beer and hoping to get a good spot.

This'll be year 5 or 6 for me. Awesome place if you have older sleds and want to find parts. Also a great experience when I was doing my big bore years ago. To be able to walk into the bikeman tent and then over to the speedworks tent and then over to d&d and get to talk to all of them at once is really priceless. If you love sledding and have a bad time you're doing something wrong.

I'll be there. The wallet will open up whenever there's a good deal. I usually go home with 15 items and only planned on getting 5 of them...

Heading down Friday night, found a room in Pine City. Thinking I'll head that way to find a parking spot about 6 in the morning maybe beat the rush?

Made it to Hey Days, that place is insane. Showed up at 6:30 through the gate at 7 by 11 in the morning there were so many people there I went back out the gate and didn't look back! Did pick up a few things I was looking for.

It was a great time as always. Perfect weather and deals to be had. $50 working Diamond Drive was my steal for the day for a bud that needed one and I love being able to put my hands on and talk to all the companies with the new products out this year. Be back next year even with all the people.

Some of the best weather I can remember for the event. Your right there was a TON of people but we got in early and had a chance to talk to everyone we wanted and even meet TuDizzle at the HMK Both. So much new product this yer it was nice. We only walked about half the swap but we were not really looking for much used stuff this year.

I was there as I have been going for many years to sell in the swap area. There were a ton of people there and sales were good on Sat. Sun sales are the same as always and I will be sending my suggestion again how to make Sunday better for the folks trying to buy or sell. Due to the amount of people who don't return to swap on Sunday, the swap meet is too spread out on Sun. If they would park those who are dedicated to swap for both days on one side of the grounds (say West end) and park the Sat only swappers on the other side (east) and let them meet in the middle (where ever that ends up being) this would make a smaller swap area to cover on Sunday. When there is so much open space to cover, buyers get discouraged and give up too soon, this also creates low traffic flow thru the larger swap area, swappers give up and start packing up. This just perpetuates it self. My past experience is that Sunday buyers will buy, but they are more of the impulse buyer and they are not interested in walking thru miles of open space to see if there is something they need but don't know it yet. They could also allow those who wont be swapping on Sun to remain over night to allow them to pack on Sun Morn if they chose to. I would be willing to pay more for my Sun spot if I was with swappers who were committed to both days to make it more condensed. And yes I know some folks do plan on both days and good sales may change that plan but there are a lot of folks that know they just want to pack up Sun morning and spend the rest of the day on the grounds other than the swap area. Next year I think I will get up early and move to a spot that is closer to the main isle on Sun. If you feel the same way I do please send the snow barrons an e mail to let them know that there is always room to improve on a good thing.

I agree 100%. I'm not a seller, just a buyer. I like looking stuff over on Sat. Buy what you can't live without on Sat. Come back sun morn to try a steal of a deal on something that would be nice to have but not necessarily needed.

Saturday sellers in one area, weekend sellers in another. Works out better for buyers and sellers.
