Hawkin at the Big Dawg shootout

What a fun weekend. Hooked up with Whistler hawk and his buddy Rick for some good times at the cold Pemberton ice fields. Wind was blowing 40-50 mph and it had to be below zero. They didn't have the hillclimbs because it was too dangerous of conditions but I still enjoyed watching the drag race hill. LOts of great people and sun. Talked to the two moto guys and rode with them a little. They had there bikes running well. Hope they do the shootout again next year, really wanted to see some chutes get climbed but still had fun on my hawk in the sun.

It sure was cold up top with that wind! We had a blast also, and wished we could have spent more time playing up on those high side hills.

It would have been better with some softer snow. Maybe next year...

Let's ride again soon!

Too bad I did'nt meet you Cailen & Whistler Hawk... Cauz I was there saturday around 10AM in the main parking lot. Called each one of you thursday, friday & saturday morning... no answers. I still made my way to the triangle cabin and had a little ride around the mountains there. I would have like to ride the 2 moto conversion kit. Since there was no powder at all and that I couldn't get a hold of you guys, I decided to go back... The 10km (ish) whoops section back and forth was such a freaking blaaaaast of handlebar pulling fun ! My '08 144" handled just like my KX125 in a super rough sand track ! Of course, at that point in the season... I do not remember how easy it is to ride a motorcycle... !

one skiis are getting popular

I think the one ski is really catching on finally, I had a half dozen sled heads buddies ride the hawk that I thought would nver want to ride one and they all loved it, gald to see so many people on these forums, planning a Baker camp out in two weeks, if any one skiis are down with some big air.
