The check engine light is on continuously on my 2008 Summit Everest, so my first question is does my sled go into a "limp" mode (retard timing, etc) when this happens? Also is there anyway I can get rid of the light myself?

Yes it goes into limp mode. No you can't clear it....unless you get to your dealer and get the latest reflash. With the latest reflash, the deto sensor is "desensitized" and the limp mode is cleared simply by shutting down the machine.
The check engine light was on because my RAVE valves shorted... should be a whole different beast when I get it back!
