I have got a 04 800 ve just put a attac on it having trouble getting it tuned right was trying to jet it for 0 alt and -20 the top end seems to be fine when i check the plugs at wot they look good, but when its idleing or while im letting it warm up it loads up pretty bad, i let it warm up for about 5 mins the other day and i fouled a plug, in 5 mins of idleing what do you guys think? i think im running 540 mains also i have a slp pipe intake florites and a bunch of other stuff the needle is set for 3.5 might change the attac to 0 degrees but it sometimes is colder than that here

I have sold two of these units that have come with sleds I have purchased. I ride from 6-10000 feet and have never needed one. The 99 Polaris 700's came with them stock. Take a look at the Polaris motors since then clear up until they went to fuel injection and you will see they went away from them. People seem to want them for some reason though. My advice sell it.

sell the atacc? i ride around my house it's like 500 feet and when i go riding anywhere from 2000-5000ft would that be ok what should i jet it for then?

Here are my settings for 6-10k ft. Stock 800 motor with SLP single pipe.
Fuel screw 1 turn
Air screw 3/4 turn
Clip in 4th
340 mains
As long as you don't go wide open for any period of time at 500 feet you will be able to jet the mains for your higher altitude.

If you're going to use the Ataac, be sure to pull that little hose once in awhile so it can recapture the air presssure and reset your baseline. I found that it gave mediocre performance and after aboubt three days at higher altitudes you'll be rejetting. Some guys loved them, but that was not my experience. Ultimately I pulled it out, stopped chasing my tail because of it and jetted the old fashioned way. Way happier that way. Just MY experiences. Good luck

My setup was very similar...
