Went on our ride today with the western editor of Am Sno. hosted by our guide for the day Troy of Lincoln County Customs in Alpine WY. Hands down the coolest guy you'll ever meet! If you guys need anything give them a call.
The issue will be online at "Snowmobiler.com in about a week.
Althought the FST didn't have a snowflakes chance in he!! of runnin with the full mod turboed Yammies, it did pretty well. The snow was steep and deep and all in all an epic day! It would climb with the '09 M8 until the FST underhood heat would would start robbing hp. I was down 1000 rpm's but it still managed to put in a pretty good showing for an obese flat lander sled!
The point of this project was to prove to Polaris that they do have a more than competant motor if they'd just put it in the new RAW chasis!
I came away with some tips on how to get even more out of the FST, and a smile on my face... Isn't that what it's really all about?
Thanks again to Matt Allred of Am Sno/ Snowmobiler.com and especially to Troy and Chad from LLC you guys are absolutely the best!!!!
Watch for the articles to appear in Snowmobiler.com/ with the pics.
