It is truely nice to see there are some honest and trustworthy people in the world. About Two weeks before Haydays I started negotiations on a Trailer purchase in Wyoming, and a snowmobile purchase in South Dakota. Keep in mind I live in Iowa. All I had to go on was pictures and the peoples word on how things looked (we all know pictures make things look better on the computer screen).
Anyway SnoXdad was looking for things to bring out to Minnesota Haydays, to help pay the way, Cobb had a trailer for sale and Firetrail had a snowmobile for sale. It just lucked out that the trailer was in the same town as SnoXdad and the snowmobile was pretty close to the route that would be taken to Minn.
Long story short we all got prices agreed upon, checks and titles were exchanged via snail mail, connections were made (Firetrail had to deliver to meeting point at 5:30 a.m. after a 45 minute drive for him, so extra thanks to him) and now all resides in central Iowa. And what was better yet is all was what was expected when it arrived.
Maybe I got lucky, maybe most snowmobilers are just good people, not sure, but thought it was worth mentioning on here since most times it seems we have to get on these boards to air a complaint about someone or some business. It was truely refreshing to stick my neck out (Almost $13000 worth) and not get it chopped off.
Thanks again guys,
Kirk Welton
