Friend of mine blew his right away, put a replacement on and no issues. There was two other 13 pros had no issues nor any drive shaft issues. Can't always think the real world is the same as the snowest whiners.

Cmx belt drive. No breakin on belt. Got over 4000 miles on belt before I sold sled. My drive belt is going to get about 10 to15 miles and break in is over. Motor gets the same treatment. Never had trouble. Ride it like you're going to ride it.

 

[Hazard]

A friends 13' ground the cogs off the drive belt today, swapped it with a spare and blew the spare in half in less than a mile! Not sure what or why but not cool cause it was crazy deep and he had to limp her back on the cogless belt while we rode pinned WOT in the flats.

His sled has a few hundy on it prior to this including 5 days in Revy and never an issue?

PS Poo doesn't warranty those belts!

Our first ride was in 4` of fresh powder, was pretty hard to brake the belts in, we had to hammer it most of the day, had clamps on driveshafts, over 300 miles so far all good.
