Has anyone installed a home (70,000 btu) furnace in their trailer?

We have been wanting to add a furnace to our newer trailer as we had a 35k Atwood in our old 27'. Been thinking that the larger fan in a home fornace would be nice to dry out sleds and gear in our 40' trailer.

Thoughts?

A house furnace is huge. I would do 2 35,000 rv furnaces before house furnace. Have u tried running a small fan to help circulate air. It works great in my trailer.

I have a 75k BTU (120 volt) garage style furnace in my 38' gooseneck. One of the challenges with a heater that big is getting adequate propane to it. Two 30# cylinders outside the trailer at depressed temps won't really supply the furnace with enough gas to run normally. I have a 100# cylinder inside the trailer but I'm sure having the gas inside would make the safety nuts crazy. A tank that size, though, especially that is kept at normal room temps supplies the furnace well. I did have to replace the pressure switch to make it work at high altitude (10k). Normally I power the trailer with an EU2000. A 1000 watt generator will run the furnace but not the furnace and my six fluorescent lights, etc. The impressive part is that with adequate gas, it will raise the temp inside on a 15 degree day to 70 degrees in about 10 minutes. I personally think that the front discharge with no ducting is much more efficient.
