Oo damn i hope its not all tore up by sunday saterday they said 9-11 inches so im hoping tracks will be coverd.. and for cravasess im not sure never ran into one and dont want to find out

how well filled in are the crevasses in the glacier?

Might be a little early to head up high. I know that once you go over Hood Hill and to the left and up through the draw...last spring there were crevasses on the left side..so be careful..Carry a GPS/Radio with you

Lol, H20... I wish. It will probably be sometime next week before I can sneak away from work and go sledding... This September, the Glacier was up farther than hood hill. Almost seemed like if you stayed on the west side of the valley there, you could get up and over to the west. I'll have to look at all my pics from that hike again.

I was the first person on the Glacier this season with a sled. It was yesterday. I had some sun. The Glacier crevasses are less filled in than last year this time. Lots of open holes still. I didn't go far and I got creeped out. Got as high as 6800' (not that high). Carved on the Eastern edge of the Easton, below where the Squak and Easton split. Be careful up there, it was a long, hot, dry summer.
