Has anybody seen a Powder Claw do this?

There are a couple shops out there that should be able to fix that. I tore one but I hit a rock and sent a rail bar through it. Search www for track repair.

Has anybody ever seen a track rip like this? Powder Claw 153 90 duro. It is on a Turbo 09 HCR with about 500 miles on it.

How loose were you running your track? It looks like something caught it right at the window and then tore the track back. My money is on a partial track stab. Being on and off the gas in the right condition, especially a boosted sled, could, with a looser track, do this and not be a complete, over the handlebars, track stab. JM2C

I saw one just like that on a rental that they claimed they were just riding on the trail. That one was a lot worse than yours.

Might be a defective track.

hey

Looks to me that you stabbed the rail to me. You would have to hit something perfect to do that, and looks exactly like a minor track stab. Did you look at the rail tip to see if its damaged at all?

I actually think the track may have been a little tight. The track has about an 1'' or two of sag when lifted up. What is this usually supposed to be?

I went out and looked at the rail tip and there is not even a scratch on it. Also like I said before I was on a perfectly groomed trail and had ridden about 3 miles up the trail, so there isn't really a possibility of hitting anything.
