has any one with a 2013 xm bog and the shop fix it and what was the fix.

well my seld isnt running right at the top end
have on clicker 5 right now to get rpm
any shop fixes please only post if you have had this problem
on your sled and had the shop fix it
whats the fix?

How fresh are the clutches? If adding clickers ups the rpm it's a clutch issue not a motor issue. Have you checked to see if the fuel pressure regulator has backed out? Is it maintaining operating temp?

fresh complete rebuild on primary and secondary
ill have to check the temp usually 3 to 4 bars
ive upgraded the fuel system with newer fuel pump and regulator with updated washer system

T in a fuel pressure regulator and make sure it is maintaining fuel pressure at high rpm under load. Other than that sometimes a coil that is going bad shows itself as a high rpm issue first.

What were your bog symptoms like? Was it intermittent bog / cut out? Or was it just failure to build RPM at all?

I also have a 2013 XM and every once and a while, while at full throttle, its almost like the engine cuts out like I let of the throttle for a split second, and then comes back. Enough to make the rpm's drop from 7900 down to 7200, for example.

Wondering if yours acted similar...

it was the fuel pump
didn't have the power to climb hills
had it on clicker 5 to get 7600 rpm
you'd pin it to climb a hill and have to take
a few runs at it. constantly stuck
had the fuel pressure tested and at 2500 rpm
fuel pressure started droping then shut engine off
and would loose all pressure. would start right up first
pull but once warm it took 5 pulls to start
